Once a dog found a piece of meat.It ran away with it outside the town.On the way, It came across a bridge over a stream.It saw his own reflection in the water.It thought it to be another dog with a piece of meat.It wanted to have this piece also.It barked and opened his mouth.His own piece fell into the water and was lost. Moral: Greed is a curse.

once a lion was sleeping under a tree. A rat ran over his body. The lion wake up. He caught hold of the rat. He wanted to kill it.The rat begged for mercy. The lion took pity on it and let it go. 
After some time, the lion was caught in a trap. He struggled hard to break the ropes but failed. He began to roar. The rat heard the noise. It ran to the spot and cut the ropes with its sharp teeth. Soon the lion was free. He thanked the rat for its help and went away.

TRY ,TRY AGAIN

Robert Bruce was the king of Scotland. He was defeated by the king of England.He went away to forest and hid himself in a cave. There he saw a spider falling down from the ceiling. It tried to climb up again but fell down. It made eight such attempts and failed. It did not lose heart. It tried once again and this time reached its web.
It was a lesson for the king. He made up his mind to fight again. He gathered a large army defeated the English and drove them out of his country.

Moral: Try, try again.

GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES

OR

NECESSITY IS THE MOTHER OF INVENTION.

 One a crow was very thirsty. It flew here and there in search of water. At last it saw a jug in a garden. There was a little water in it. But its beak could not reach there. It saw some pebbles lying nearby. It dropped them into the jug one by one. The water rose, the crow drank it and flew away.

Moral : Necessity is the mother of invention. God helps those who help themselves.

TIT FOR TAT

OR

   AS YOU SOW, SO SHALL YOU REAP.

Once three friends set out on long journey. On the way they found a bag full of gold. They decided to divide the gold equally among themselves. In fact, each wanted to have the whole of it.They felt hungry. One of them went to a nearby village to fetch food. He mixed some poison in the food. In his absence, the other two had decided to kill him on his return, So when he returned he was put to death. The other two ate the poisoned food and died on the spot.

Moral : Tit for tat. As you sow, so shall you reap.
